The Giga­Boots Gang checks out Ys Ori­gin for Steam (Win­dows). Set sev­eral cen­turies before the events of the other Ys titles, Ys Ori­gin fea­tures the same high-speed action-rpg action that the series is known for and 3 dif­fer­ent char­ac­ters to tackle the game as. Dan’s a huge Ys fan so expect a lot of gushing…a…LOT of gush­ing.
 
Cor­rec­tion: We say that Ys Cel­c­eta: Sea of Trees for the Vita is Ys 8 when it’s a reimag­in­ing of the 4th install­ment. Whoops.

Vir­tua Fighter 5 Final Show­down adds 2 new char­ac­ters, an online mode, and some slight visual flair to the orig­i­nal PS3 title. Dan and Bob detail what all is included and what you have to buy separately.

Dan and Bob got to check out a pre­view build of Anar­chy Reigns (Max Anar­chy) for the PS3 & 360. This game from Plat­inum Games is a spir­i­tual suc­ces­sor to Mad World for the Wii, and is an amaz­ing beat-em-up with extreme as a theme.

Because it’s no longer Mega May and these things don’t have to go up once a day, I’m going to take a bit more time with these last two videos. The first should hope­fully be up in the next two days and the sec­ond shouldn’t take that much longer. It’s a more sim­ple project. Thanks to every­one who watched our Mega May videos. The next one will be a doozy so be sure to keep an eye out for it.
