A few minor similarities make it like pokemon? Have you played these games at all? They do not play the same at all.
Getting a new chip is like getting a new weapon in an RPG, not like catching a pokemon which is more like adding a new party member. Plus, MMBN is real time and pokemon is turned based.
Even the split versions thing is pretty different — With pokemon you just get different pokemon to catch and with MMBN you tend to get a slightly different story. Yes there are different chips but its only the endgame giga chips…which there are like five of. And you cant even trade those.

I didn’t say that they play the same, and yes, I have played Battle Network, and I’m well aware that they have very different gameplay styles. I was making comparisons to the overall ideas between the two and even Capcom has stated that the idea for Battle Network came from Pokemon.
I merely skimmed over the game, because it was part of the anime’s history. If you want someone to go over the games in great detail talk someone at Gigaboot’s, that’s they’re job.

Cross Fusion… Digimon? Really?
Transforming heroes are a big thing in Japan dating back to 60s. Not defending the cartoon, just saying.

Not really the same thing. The reason I called it a Digimon Frontier knock-off, is because they transform by combining with their digital partners, which isn’t that common, and NT Warrior did this a little over a year after Digimon. So the odds of it being intentional are very likely.
